Create New Operational Notification

How do I create a new Operational Notification?


1. Click +New and select Operational Notification

2. Use picker icon to select System Group and/or Managed Facilities

3. Select System Group(s) and click Accept.

Or select Managed Facilities and click Accept.

4. Select Reason for notification from the drop down menu, or select (Show more values... [F3]) to view full list.

If you selected show more values, select Reason in new window and click Accept.

5. Optional, add Details and/or Reminder Delay.

Details allows for additional information to be added, Reminder Delay sends out an additional email reminder for the entered number of hours after publishing the Operational Notification.

6. Title will auto-populate based on the details entered above, this section can be manually adjusted to better reflect the Operational Notification contents.

7. The Description section is where you will enter details about the Operational Notification. If you have a pdf to attach the description can be a brief synopsis of what is contained in the pdf.

8. Go to the Associated Files tab and click Add Files to attach one or more PDF files.

9. Click Save.

10. Once your Operational Notification has saved and you are ready to send it out, Click Publish.

11. Add an optional comment, and click Publish again.

12. Once your Operational Notification has successfully published, click Close Form or Continue if you would like to keep the window open.
