Access and login to the Power landing platform. From here, click on the Data API button in the left-hand ribbon:

Once in the API Portal, navigate between the tabs in the top ribbon, where you can find an array of API documentation including an Overview, How To guides and FAQs.

Accessing your API Key: Navigate to the My Account section, where you'll find your personal Primary and Secondary API Key’s:

Under the API's tab in the top ribbon, you'll find North American Market Intelligence, where you can access PowerIQ data.

1. Navigate to Market Intelligence Report Metadata beneath the Reports-SIDs association tab and review the Request Parameters, explaining each variable and its meaning.

2. Click the Try It button

3. Filter by Region

4. Scroll down and click the Send button

The output will display all available reports for your selected region, as well as the ReportID, Report Name, Sensor ID (SID) and Scenario Description.

Now that you have your SID, you can extract the actual forecast data.

1. Navigate to the Market Intelligence Reports Search Method within the User defined search criteria tab

2. Click the Try It button

3. Enter your parameters, including region, Start and End Date, Report ID and SID:

4. Scroll down and click the Send button

5. This will output hour-by-hour forecast data for your selected scenario and data range, as well as the URL:
