Project Likelihood by Phase
Users can now analyse the project likelihood breakdown by phase
Filter for a particular asset and see the likelihood breakdown by Phase characteristics, Country, Developer and the Stage of development, giving a likelihood score and the probability of that project phase to come online.
March 2025
Valuations update (initial launch in 2024)
Lens Hydrogen Valuations subscribers can now run valuations on more than 40 assets across 6 different regions, namely USA, UK, Australia, Spain, Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.
In addition to analysing different assets user can also run sensitivity analysis on costs, prices and electricity feedstocks and compare NPV, IRR and LCOH to see the investable opportunities.
All the assets come with downloadable calculation files which can be edited and audited.
(This requires a subscription to the Valuations module)

Partners:
This dashboard returns projects with the associated partner data, consisting of companies that have involvement with a project in some way such as offtake, EPC contractor, electrolyser vendor or other unspecified involvement.
January 2025
Reconversion (ammonia cracking added with Cost Modelling)
Users can now understand carry out full value chain cost modelling from hydrogen production, conversion to ammonia, shipping and reconversion (ammonia cracking) Find out how best to use this functionality here - How do I use Cost Modelling in Lens Hydrogen? | Wood Mackenzie Help Centre

Compare electrolyser vendor brochures
In addition to identifying the location, status and output of vendor facilities, users can now compare the specifications of specific electrolyser models produced by each vendor.
Within the Vendors panel, select Electrolyser vendor brochures from the drop down menu in the settings toggle.
As well as the electrolyser type, company and model, you'll also find key technical metrics including:
Electrical consumption
Load factor (minimum and maximum)
Oxygen pressure
Water consumption
Cold and Hot start up times

Using Spatial Selection to identify opportunities
Users can now select an area on the map and analyse the assets that are located within that location. This can be done across multiple Lens solutions at once (subject to subscription).
A video detailing this workflow can be found here:
