Capacity Additions
You can find Capacity Additions in the North America regional view in Lens P&R Americas. This represents the forecasted generation capacity that has been added or is expected to come online within each zone during the period.
Type 'United States' in the top search bar and add it to the filters.
In the left panel, select Supply.
The quick filters provide access to specific markets or zones data.
Make sure you have the North America regional view selected, it is by default.
Scroll down to find the dashboard for Gross Capacity Additions.
The graph includes quick filters to show different data, by default Supply Type is selected.
Capacity Retirements
This represents the forecasted generation capacity that has been decommissioned or removed from service within each zone during the period.
Continue scrolling down to find the dashboard for Retirements.

Capacity Additions and Retirements in Lens Direct
Lens Direct is the API service used to explore and download bulk datasets, connect directly using APIs, and integrate with BI Tools.
Capacity Additions and Retirements in Lens Direct can be found in the forecast_installed_capacity_annual_americas dataset.
You can add multiple filters to extract the relevant data. This dataset includes metric_name value that has Gross Additions and Retirements data.
Use the Download data button to do a Static Download, OData link or Bulk Download.
