The Data centers dashboard in Lens Power can be found here:

Data update cadence: Data is updated in Lens Direct and the dashboard on a monthly cadence.

Data coverage:

  • US: data center sites with development activity since January 2023

  • China/Japan: operational and proposed date center sites regardless of operational/activity date

  • EMEA: data center sites with development activity since January 2023

  • LATAM: operational and proposed date center sites regardless of operational/activity date

In the Lens Power interface, use the left hand navigation to select the Data centers dashboard.

The Data centers dashboard will respond to several filters including state, market, zone, country, region, super region, and developer. Filters specific to data centers are planned to come soon.

Use the (i) next to each component on the dashboard to learn more about the metrics being displayed:

The top summary cards show key statistics such as the total number of unique data center sites and corresponding planned capacity based on applied filters.

The Data center [y-axis] by [color by] time series chart shows how capacity, size, and spend have evolved over time by location and developer based on project disclosed date. The chart settings can be used to change the y-axis and color by options:

The Data center [y-axis] by [x-axis] chart ranks locations and developers by total planned capacity, size, and spend. The chart settings can be used to change the X axis and color by options.

The data center site summary data grid contains a listing of all tracked data centers and data campuses. The data grid can be exported to Excel or CSV, or via an o-data Lens Direct connection.
