Historical Locational Marginal Pricing (LMP) data is available through both NAPS and Lens subscriptions, with export options to support deeper analysis.

Using Lens Direct

  • Coverage: Provides hourly historic price data at zonal, hub, and nodal levels.

Using the Lens Direct API

  • Bulk access: Enables large-scale downloads and integration with internal systems.

  • NAPS Hourly Power Price Data: API access supports bulk exports and automated updates.

  • Sub-hourly data: Available for advanced users entitled to this feature, providing even greater granularity.

Steps to Access and Export

  1. Open the Lens platform and navigate to Lens Direct.

  2. Select the dataset of interest (hourly or sub-hourly, depending on your entitlement).

  3. Export the data to Excel or CSV, or configure the OData link for direct integration with your tools.
