Wood Mackenzie relies on company reporting as a primary research source. Reserve figures in global asset cost summaries are typically drawn from numbers published in companies’ annual reports.

Because these figures are only updated once companies release and disclose them, there may be a time lag of up to two years. We update our database as soon as new figures are received and validated.
