To review the valuation of an upstream asset, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Filter for Commercial Assets
Apply a filter for Commercial assets to narrow the results to relevant opportunities.
Step 2: Navigate to Upstream Valuations
From the left-hand menu, select Upstream Valuations.
This section displays the Remaining Present Value (RPV) of the asset.
Step 3: Download the Valuation Calculation File
Click the Download button to access the full valuation calculation file.
The file provides a detailed breakdown of the assumptions and inputs used, including:
Production forecasts
Capital expenditures (CapEx)
Operating expenses (OpEx)
Fiscal terms
Price assumptions
Cash flow projections
These components together form the basis of the RPV calculation and provide a comprehensive view of the asset’s underlying valuation.
