  • Power generation capacity refers to the reported and forecasted capacity for generating electricity by each fuel type within a country. It represents how much power can be produced.

  • Energy demand includes not only the consumption by end-use sectors but also accounts for losses and gains throughout the energy system, reflecting the total energy required to meet final needs.
