How to reset your password

Guidance on how to regain access to your subscription

To reset your password or unlock your account, please follow these quick steps to regain access to your subscription.

For Wood Mackenzie portal, Short Term Oil portal, Natgas portal, and PowerIQ platform:

  1. Go to the password reset page here;

  2. Enter your email address and click submit;

  3. You will receive an email from account-update@woodmac.com which contains your temporary password (please note it remains valid for 24 hours) and a link to log in;

  4. Open the link and use your email address and temporary password to set up a new one;

  5. Once reset, log in as usual. If you encounter any issues, please get in touch with the team via messenger.

For PowerRT:

  1. Go to the password reset page here, click on "forgot your password?" and enter your email address;

  2. You will receive an email from customercare@woodmac.com with a link, click on that link;

  3. You will receive a second email with a temporary password, which you can use to log into PowerRT;

  4. To set up your own password, log out of PowerRT and click "change your password";

  5. Using the temporary password create a new password that fits the requirements;

  6. Once set, log in to PowerRT as usual. If you encounter any issues, please contact the team via messenger.

For Supply Chain:

  1. Go to the password reset page here;

  2. Enter your case-sensitive username;

  3. You will receive an email with a temporary password (please check your junk/spam folders if you don't receive this within a few minutes);

  4. Go to the login page here;

  5. Enter your username and the temporary password;

  6. You will then be asked to create a new password, and you will be able to log in once that is completed.
